Vending Paris 2008 - The International Vending Show
As the only professional event that caters for the entire nomadic food sector, Vending Paris 2008, the international vending show, supported by NAVSA (the French vending association), is hosting a new segment of the Away-From-Home market: take-away sales. Nomading is the name of this new area, which will be at the heart of Vending Paris from 29 October to 1 November 2008 at Paris Expo –Porte de Versailles- Hall 4.
Take-away sales, in perfect harmony with vending, are an attractive concept for a growing number of consumers who identify with a solution that suits their lifestyles. In 2006, 2 billion take-away meals were served and the market is growing by 4 to 5% each year. Determined to present an exhaustive overview of the away-from-home market and a wider offer to correspond to the new demands of consumers, the 10th edition of Vending Paris will include a new area, called Nomading, entirely dedicated to take-away sales. It will bring together all players in the sector – food and drink products, chilled and ultra-chilled products, coffee shops, packaging suppliers, label process suppliers, etc. – and should bring in a flow of extra visitors.
For exhibiting companies, this new addition is the unique opportunity to reach all targets in the vending and take-away sales sectors and to develop synergies between these two segments. As for visitors, they will be able to meet, under one roof, all actors in the away-from-home market.
This new area will also be the subject of a number of conferences. Experts will outline the take-away sales' market's economic and technological factors to help actors prepare for changes and new challenges.
Nomading will also have its own "Innovation Trophy", to add to the 6 that already exist for Vending Paris. It will award the most original new feature in terms of service, product or technology, in the take-away sales' field.
Remember that Vending Paris, with 250 exhibitors and 12,000 visitors, has been the leading event in nomadic consumption for 10 years.
By widening its offer, Vending Paris 2008 now covers the entire away-from-home consumption sector and is recognised as a unique event uniting the key players, reliably reflecting the sector's development.
