Business Opportunities and Associated Trading Exhibition

Following the excellent results achieved at last year's exhibition, SIF&Co is maintaining its focus on the quality of the visitors it attracts. The upcoming International Franchising Exhibition, which is set to run from 23rd to 25th October this year, has come up with some new propositions that are designed to maintain the high level of quality amongst visitors that delivers good profitability to exhibitors.

SIF&Co's work is currently geared to making it easy for Spanish and international entrepreneurs and investors with the right profile to meet and take franchising projects forward. It is also continuing to pursue the strategy it has implemented in previous years of working in concert with international bodies, banks, investment companies, business groups and other associations in the industry as a way of providing quality visitors whose profile is an increasingly better fit with the world of franchising.

The cumulative result of the recent years' work was that 25% of both exhibitors and visitors at last year's exhibition were from abroad. Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, France, Italy, Portugal and Morocco were the countries that fielded our foreign visitors, whilst Uruguay, Brazil and Mexico were the main source of foreign exhibitors.

The corresponding figures of 320 exhibitors and 22,000 visitors consolidate SIF&Co's position as the world's leading franchising exhibition. SIF&Co is the international springboard for the Iberoamerican market

SIF&Co is boosting its mission to create awareness in Europe of the franchising opportunities that exist in South America. Results thus far have been highly successful and the Valencia show has for several years now been the way in to the European market for high quality South American franchise operations.

The exhibition has as a result become home to the Federation of Iberoamerican Franchise Associations, FIAF, which now holds it annual meetings in Valencia. The Federation comprises Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru, Portugal, Venezuela and Spain.

FIAF's objective is to promote, raise awareness of and encourage the development of the franchising model in the Iberoamerican region. SIF&Co is the springboard for its international drive.
