ChangingWorlds Opens New Office in Brazil

ChangingWorlds, the provider of Mobile Internet personalization and subscriber intelligence solutions for mobile operators has announced the opening of a new office in Brazil as a further boost to its activity and business growth in the wider Central and Latin American region.

This is the latest step in ChangingWorlds' continuing global expansion and a vital part of the company's strategy to deploy advanced, personalized Mobile Internet solutions to the mobile industry worldwide.

Since 2005, ChangingWorlds has built a strong presence in North America and recently announced its first stateside deployment with the delivery of its intelligent portal and mobile data personalization solution for Sprint. Until recently, interest from the Latin American market was serviced by ChangingWorlds' North American office in San Francisco.

Now, ChangingWorlds' Latin American team will focus on business development throughout the region and provide any necessary technical support. The office will provide a local contact for mobile operators in the region as well as a base for ChangingWorlds' ongoing expansion plans.

Commenting on the expansion into Latin America, David Moran, CEO of ChangingWorlds said "Having a presence in Latin America is a very exciting development for us and we are confident that it will be an excellent addition to our international expansion plans. Our presence in Brazil will enhance ChangingWorlds' on-the-ground service capabilities to help mobile operators in Latin & Central America to realize effective, profitable mobile data strategies. This expansion affirms our commitment to the region and enables us to provide enhanced support to prospective customers, combined with local market expertise."

Also speaking today, Dan Poppelreiter VP Americas for ChangingWorlds said "The CALA region is an important market for ChangingWorlds. Having a presence there will strengthen our engagement activity with local mobile operators and will raise awareness of ChangingWorlds' expertise in the personalization of Mobile Internet data and associated services such as mobile advertising & mobile search."

Over the coming months, ChangingWorlds will be attending regional mobile industry events such as Futurecom in Rio De Janeiro and the Mobile Marketing Forum in Buenos Aires.

With more wireless subscribers than wireline subscribers, Central and Latin America presents great opportunities to mobile operators and vendors. Mobile communications services have been the fastest growing segment of the Latin American telecommunications industry and operators in the region need to implement strategies to assure customer retention and higher returns per subscriber.
