Second Year Of Success For SatTV At CommunicAsia In Singapore

SatTV – the Satellite industry's leading business television service – has announced another hugely successful presence at CommunicAsia this year. The event held in Singapore last month, saw SatTV build on the success and recognition it has achieved over the last 12 months, with wide-spread coverage across CommunicAsia and The CASBAA Satellite Industry Forum. The coverage included 34 executive interviews, the highlight of which was securing interviews with Arianspace CEO, Jean-Yves Le Gall and CEO of Intelsat, Dave McGlade.

SatTV was joined by 67,573 visitors at CommunicAsia, Asia's largest infocomm and media trade exhibition, and with the help of a purpose built studio and booth, SatTV discussed the hot industry topics with the key satellite players, as well as filming several SatTV news bulletins, which can be viewed on the website.

"SatTV's profile within the industry has grown massively over the last year and this was reflected in the huge number of interview requests we received prior to the event. This year, with the onsite studio and increased staff numbers, we had the capability to exceed our interview target and carried out more than double the number of corporate level interviews compared to last year. The reaction from all exhibitors was extremely positive and we look forward to further increasing SatTV's presence next year."

Among the other high profile satellite industry figures interviewed by SatTV at CommunicAsia and CASBAA were, SES New Skies CEO Robert Bednarek, CASBAA CEO Simon Twiston Davis, Thuraya CEO Yousuf Al Sayed, Measat COO Paul Brown Kenyon, Nera CEO Samuel Lang, Globecast CEO, David Justin, iDirect CTO David Bettinger and Singtel Satellite VP Titus Yong.
