Farnborough International Airshow

Farnborough International Limited (FIL) has announced that it will be providing a free shuttle bus service for exhibitors and trade visitors travelling in to next month's Airshow from the three principal local railway stations. The majority of exhibitors and business visitors who attend the Airshow on the trade days (Monday 14 July to Friday 18 July) travel to the event via train. FIL has worked with Stagecoach to provide a free shuttle bus service from Aldershot, North Camp and Farnborough Main railway stations on each of the weekdays of the show, to encourage visitors to leave their cars at home with the aim of easing traffic flow in the vicinity of the show site.

The first departure from Aldershot Railway station will be at 07.30hrs every 20 minutes, with a final departure from the Airshow site back to the station at 19.20hrs. The first departure from North Camp railway station (which has facilities for visitors with disabilities) will be at 07.30hrs every 20 minutes, with a final departure from the Airshow site back to the station at 19.15hrs. The first departure from Farnborough Main station will be at 07.30hrs every 20 minutes, with a final departure from the Airshow site back to the station at 19.15hrs.

Amanda Stainer, FIL's Exhibition and Events Director, stated: "Farnborough International Airshow has always been about delivering cost effective business solutions for the aerospace industry. The decision to provide free shuttle buses for our exhibitors and trade visitors was a direct response to the needs of our customers and reinforces our established commitment to delivering a service that will enhance their experience of the show, and create the best possible environment in which to do business."
