The 7th China International Consumer Goods Fair (CICGF 2008)

CICGF, co-sponsored by Ministry of Commerce, PRC and Zhejiang Provincial People's Government, is the largest and most professional consumer goods fair in China, which ranks only second to Canton Fair among all the exhibitions sponsored by Ministry of Commerce. It is held at Ningbo International Conference & Exhibition Center from June 8 to 12 every year. In the past six successful sessions, several thousand enterprises from more than 30 Chinese provinces and municipalities as well as from abroad exhibited, attracting thousands of buyers from all over the world.

With an exhibiting area of 90,000 sqm, 4000 booths will be set up at CICGF 2008, which will be divided into the following 6 exhibiting sections: household textiles and garments, home appliances and electronics, office supply & sports articles and furniture, decoration and gifts, articles of daily use, foodstuffs.

Overseas exhibit section will be set up, and import to China is encouraged. Besides, yacht expo will be arranged at different location nearby. Well-known enterprises, famous brands and new products from home and abroad will attend. It will be an ideal occasion for business people from all over the world to exchange information and to promote business. Free shuttle buses will be available for overseas visitors at Shanghai Pudong and Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airports, prior to and during the fair.

There are three advantages for the fair Manufacturing base. Zhejiang Province, of which Ningbo is a part, is China's as well as the world's largest consumer goods manufacturing base. 70% of the exhibiting enterprises are within hours'or even minutes' driving distance, making it much easier for buyers to explore.

Excellent natural deep-water port, with cargo throughput ranking second in China and the third in the world. 190 container routes to over 600 ports. All the worl's 20 top container shipping companies have offices in Ningbo.

Good exhibition infrastructure and excellent service. Good exhibition infrastructure, easy access to exhibitors online, free on-site interpreter service and internet service, Christian and Muslim prayer spaces, reasonable hotel charges, free shuttle bus service, etc. all make the fair such a nice one to attend.
