CMP's Interop Las Vegas Gathers Industry's Critical Communities

Interop, the business technology event, produced by CMP, announced a collocated lineup for the 2008 Las Vegas event that will create the richest variety and widest cross-section of business technology communities in one place. Computer Security Institute Security Exchange (CSISX) and the Software 2008 Conference will join forces with Interop at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, April 28 - May 2, 2008.

"The incredible changes we're seeing in the business technology landscape prove we're at the beginning of the next big technology cycle. Interop is the one event that lets you see all the moving pieces, the whole picture in one place. The addition of CSISX and Software 2008 to the Interop Las Vegas lineup makes Interop the single most important IT event of the year, " said Lenny Heymann, Interop General Manager. "What CES is for consumer electronics, Interop is for business technology."

The collocation of Software 2008 at Interop Las Vegas provides buyers and sellers with a more comprehensive showcase for understanding the direction of the software industry and how to leverage software for their companies. Software 2008 sessions will present the latest software offerings, including: SOA, SaaS, Enterprise 2.0 and Open Source.

Security remains one of the biggest challenges for security and IT professionals when adopting new enterprise models. The inclusion of CSISX at Interop offers an expanded, in-depth view into security policy and procedures to equip them with the information needed to protect their enterprise.

Both of these distinct events bring great value to Interop's position as the largest and most comprehensive business technology event and will provide attendees with the strategies and tools needed to drive business value and cut costs for their organizations.

Interop Las Vegas 2008 proudly welcomes more than 500 exhibitors, showcasing the full range of IT solutions including Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, F5, Foundry, Citrix, Juniper, McAfee, Secure Computing, Novell, Aruba, Riverbed, Force10, NETGEAR, Alcatel-Lucent, ProCurve, Net Scout, CA, Qwest, BlueCat, Eaton, APC, Sprint, Extreme, Xirrus, Ixia, and Oracle.
