The 2008 All Things Organicä Conference & Trade Show

The 2008 All Things Organicä Conference & Trade Show, to be held April 26-29 at McCormick Place in Chicago, promises to be the most exciting and innovative industry show of the year. Presented by the Organic Trade Association in partnership with Diversified Business Communications, this year's event teams with two other shows this year—the Spring Fancy Food Show, and the U.S. Food Export Showcase—in an event billed as "The Global Food & Style Expo". This year's trade shows will all be held on one level for easy access to all exhibitors.

Trade buyers will have access to an abundant array of the latest organic grocery items, specialty foods, American-made items for export, non-food products such as clothing and personal care products, ingredients for organic production, and a large selection of produce…all featured in one show over three days.

All Things Organicä is the only conference and trade show in North America focusing exclusively on the organic business community, giving chain and independent retailers, manufacturers, distributors, chefs and foodservice establishments access to more organic companies and more certified organic products than any other industry trade event. Attendees can preview and source the hottest products and discover the latest trends in the fastest-growing segment in the food industry.

Multiple show features will highlight specific growing product categories and industry trends The "Organic for Kids" showcase will feature the latest in the ever-growing category of organic products for infants and children. Items will include both food and non-food items from clothing to personal care products.

The New Product Showcases give a preview of the newest products to hit the organic marketplace. The "Organic Spirits Pavilion" will highlight organic offerings in the world of spirits, wine and beer. Private Label Showcase: This new Showcase pulls private label organic products across all categories into one location. Culinary Demonstrations: New this year will be Culinary Demonstrations held on the show floor throughout the three days, spotlighting the industry trends in preparing organic foods.

Top industry chefs will offering inspiring cooking demonstrations, including Celebrity Chef and Food Network Star, Bobby Flay; co-author of "Food to Live By: The Earthbound Farm Organic Cookbook" Myra Goodman and Earthbound Farms' Executive Chef Sarah LaCasse, and renowned chef Scott Uehlein, who pioneered the concept of gourmet spa cuisine and oversees the food and beverage programs for all of Canyon Ranch's health resorts, SpaClubs and Living communities. Special wine and other beverage tastings will also be conducted by All Things Organic exhibitors at various times throughout the show.

Fiber & Personal Care Focus: Hot trends in organic fiber and personal care will be featured on the show floor and in the NEW Personal Care & Fiber Showcase. On Sunday, April 27, attendees can participate in an Organic Fiber tour of Oak Park, or attend one of the many fiber industry focused education sessions taking place Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
