Genera-08, the International Energy and Environment Fair

Genera-08, the International Energy and Environment Fair, will provide the framework for the staging of two business meetings among international companies on 27th and 28th February. One of these meetings forms part of an AL-Invest Programme run by the European Union, whilst the other is a ´Brokerage Event´ that will focus on the transfer of technology. These two events of special interest will constitute authentic business forums within the framework of the fair and will take place in Hall 12 at IFEMA.

As part of its strategy to complement its trade exhibition, GENERA ´08 will incorporate two outstanding business events for professionals from the industry into its programme. Both events will provide Spanish and foreign businessmen with unique opportunities to establish new trade links with companies from the industry, as well as the chance to share business experiences with other professionals.

The Specialised Association for Waste and Environmental Management (ATEGRUS) will organise ´Eco-Energies 2008: Building a Renewable Future´, an AL INVEST Meeting co-financed by the European Commission, which will take place on 27th and 28th February. The purpose of this event is to boost, facilitate and promote long-lasting trade agreements, based on investment, transfer of technologies and the establishment of joint ventures among companies from the European Union and Latin America.

According to the President of the Specialised Association for Waste and Environmental Management, (ATEGRUS), Julián Uriarte, ´the aim of this sectorial meeting is to offer European and Latin American SME´s the opportunity to secure business deals that involve new technologies applied to the field of environmental management. In this respect, participants will host a number of appointments with those companies of interest to them, based on the establishment of a specific working agenda ´.
