Trade Fair for Sanitation, Heating, Air Conditioning

When SHK Essen opens its doors for four days on March 5-8, 2008, the around 600 exhibitors expected once again will, at the sectoral meeting place with the highest number of visitors in that year, present their new or refined products and solutions for all the questions of the SHK skilled trades. Heating technology and sanitation technology, air conditioning solutions and building automation, design, renewable energies, efficiency and suitability for the future, software and marketing tools will be the sections in which industry and service providers will offer the specialised skilled tradesman information at first hand.

Comfort, appealing design and high-tech are in demand in the bathroom. The German citizens are ever more willing to invest in a private wellness oasis. The SHK skilled tradesman will find the trends and solutions at SHK Essen. All the top brands in the sanitation sector will be represented in Essen.

The rising demand for the optimum energy efficiency of the installation technology and the increased utilisation of the renewable energies will form the context in which SHK Essen 2008 will take place. The industry will present the corresponding new and further developments in Essen.

The preparations for SHK Essen 2008 are in full swing; the new Fair Advisory Board has been constituted and, in its first meeting, has not only adjusted the duration of the fair to the four days (Wednesday to Saturday) customary in the sector but has also set the course for other important developments.

For example, special presentations entitled "Renewable Energies" as well as "Air Conditioning and House Ventilation" (amongst other events) are to be prepared in cooperation with BDH (the "German Federal Industrial Association for House, Energy and Environmental Technology") and Fachverband SHK NRW (the "North Rhine-Westphalia Trade Association for Sanitation, Heating and Air Conditioning"). Dirk Gellisch, Marketing Manager of VIEGA, was elected as the new Chairman of the Advisory Board.
