ASME Turbo Expo-2008

ASME Turbo Expo-2008, the global conference addressing new developments in gas turbine technology, will be held June 9-13, 2008, at the Estrel Hotel and Convention Center in Berlin, Germany.

ASME Turbo Expo – Gas Turbine Technical Congress and Exposition will bring together engineers, research scientists, educators and other professionals involved in the design, operation, and maintenance of gas turbines. Combining a technical program and exhibit, Turbo Expo 2008 will cover engine design, materials, cogeneration, noise reduction in turbines, alternative fuels, combustion diagnostics, and micro-turbines, among other topics.

In 2008, the Technical Congress of Turbo Expo will be expanded to five days of technical sessions, tutorials, and panel discussions. The three-day exposition will showcase the products and services of engine manufacturers, software developers, research laboratories, and other firms in the worldwide power industry.

ASME Turbo Expo 2007 in Montreal drew a record attendance of more than 3,000 participants, and the exhibit was a sellout. The response to Turbo Expo 2008 also is expected to be strong. Berlin, Germany's largest city and the second most populated city in the European Union, is an influential center for politics, culture, and industry.
