Integrated Systems Europe-2008

It's official – floorspace at Integrated Systems Europe 2008 is sold out, a full six weeks before the show is due to begin. Organiser Integrated Systems Events has started a waiting list and says it will do everything it can to accommodate late bookings, but with no additional space available at the Amsterdam RAI convention centre, latecomers will now have to rely on cancellations to gain entry.

Net floorspace at ISE 2008 will be almost 50% up on the previous year's event, while the total show area will grow from 29,000 gross square metres in 2007 to 38, 500 gsm. Blackman attributes these stunning figures to a number of factors.

The 2008 event sees a substantial number of new exhibitors from the field of commercial audio, with Harman Professional, Audica, RCF and Vieta Pro all taking booths for the first time. Antonio Ferrari, PA Product Manager for RCF, says: "We decided to exhibit at ISE 2008 because the AV market is a growing business in which we as a company are more and more involved. ISE is different because it attracts systems specialists and integrators in a more focused and selective way than other trade shows."

Also thriving is the Residential Solutions segment of ISE, with Naim Audio, Revox, and B&W among the manufacturers making their show debut in 2008. "The European market for home theatre and automation is growing rapidly, and ISE is the one B2B event that really brings the worlds of custom installation and commercial AV together, " says Blackman.

Complementing the largest-ever ISE tradeshow will be an extended programme of educational sessions from the show's two supporting trade associations, CEDIA and InfoComm International . These will be accompanied by manufacturer training and a number of exciting new events that will be announced shortly.
