Exhibition Tourism and Caravanning - Reisen Hamburg

No matter whether they're planning to go round the world or just take a short trip, visitors to Reisen Hamburg will be given the best first-hand holiday tips together with an overview of the wealth of innovations in caravaning at Hamburg Trade Fair from February 6th-10th 2008.

Some 1,000 exhibitors from 80 countries will display their holiday services for Germany and the rest of Europe and inspire visitors to book dream trips to faraway places at the largest tourism and caravaning exhibition in the north. The partner country will be the popular holiday destination Croatia. The extensive caravaning sector will have a new representative forum in the New Hamburg Trade Fair: it will be presented for the first time at REISEN HAMBURG in the state-of-the-art halls B5 and B6 in 2008. Hall B5 will also be celebrating its "premiere" at the start of the exhibition.

REISEN HAMBURG will again focus on the keynote subjects "Medical Wellness" and "Bicycles and Cycle Trips", in response to the keen visitor interest taken in these areas the previous year. Hall 8 will highlight both subjects on three days, from the Friday to the Sunday (February 8th-10th). Visitors will be able to find out everything about the trend for using holidays for health-promoting activities and recuperation in a pleasant atmosphere.

Qualified travel service providers and health experts will give information and advice, and visitors will be able to experience a holiday atmosphere right away with relaxation exercises and massages. The second subject area covers tour tips, special travel services and equipment for cycling, which is very popular among people who want to be active on holiday as well as those who are simply looking for rest and relaxation.

The approx. 1,000 exhibitors at REISEN HAMBURG will again include prestigious tour operators and suppliers of travel services such as Thomas Cook, Rewe-Touristik with the brands ITS, Jahn Reisen and Tjaereborg, as well as Dertour, Meier's Weltreisen and ADAC Reisen, the tour operators Marco Polo Reisen, FTI, the TUI subsidiary L'Tur, TUI Fly, Germanwings, Air Berlin and many others besides, including numerous special tour operators often unrepresented in any catalogues.

Croatia as the partner country of REISEN HAMBURG in 2008 will inform visitors about its most beautiful towns, beaches and islands. Providing "first-hand" holiday tips will also be the motto for the many other tourism offices from Europe and overseas represented at the exhibition. Attractive destinations such as China, Jordan, Abu Dhabi and Canada will again be featured. For the first time, visitors will be able to stroll through German holiday landscapes in the large Hall A1, where the comprehensive services offered for Germany will now be even more effectively displayed on approx. 10,000 sq.m. of space.
