Idéo Bain-2008, The Bathroom Exhibition

As a show that brings together the sector's leading brands and a genuine international reference for the universe of the bathroom, Idéo Bain will run for six days from 5th to 10th February 2008, in hall 1 of the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre. However, Idéo Bain is also a fount of inspiration and so it will also open to the general public for three days from Friday 8th to Sunday 10th February 2008.

Idéo Bain is the place to discover trends and is today the major player in a universe dedicated to pleasure and well being. Accessories and decorations for the bathroom, sanitaryware, as well as lighting and electrical systems for bathrooms, materials, fittings to create Turkish baths, showers/hydros and saunas in which to relax, bathroom furniture, radiators, towel dryers and taps – in short the full diversity of the sector will be on show as this major international exhibition is staged for the fourth time. With a new image, Idéo Bain the bathroom exhibition, has passed a further milestone and continues to anticipate changes in the market.

A unique European event staged in an ultra modern set design, this event decodes the new attitudes of five of today's great sociological tribes. Entrusted to the combined talents of Daniel Rozenzstroch and the 2.26 architectural practice, "IMAGES" is a show case for the latest bathroom trends. Looking after one's body, making oneself beautiful for oneself and others, staying young and attractive …Like an enchanted oasis of calm and well being, the bathroom has become the place for all those little private pleasures, a delicious means of affirming one's own personality, of stressing one's differences and looking after one's image.

The bathroom is often seen as an assault course when it comes to turning ideas into reality and this is why Idéo Bain is investing and innovating to provide the consumer with advice and solutions. Professional installers specializing in the renovation of bathrooms, architects and designers who are all highly qualified in the bathroom field will be available to meet consumers and to show them how to make their project a success.

The presentation of a series of awards will provide recognition for the talent of creatives and the creativity of the major international brands who are exhibiting. Following on from the previous winners Andrée Putman, Terence Conran and, at the last show, India Mahdavi, the 2008 Hotel Bathroom Prize will be presented to an outstanding designer.
