The Interclima+Elechome&Building-2008

The next interclima+elechome&building will run from 5th to 8th February 2008 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles and will enhance its positioning as a show case for innovations across a range of technologies designed to improve energy efficiency, comfort and communications in homes and buildings. It has now established itself as the meeting point for the technical finishing trades by presenting the trends and major innovative techniques in the sectors of HVAC, electrical systems, automatic mechanisms, cooling and new sources of energy to installers, distributors, specifiers and contractors.

Against this background, Reed Expositions France, the organizer of interclima+elechome&building, is launching a number of initiatives at the 2008 show:

The creation of two new concepts, "100% new energy" and "100% connect", that will shine the spotlight on two rapidly developing markets. These concepts will each be supported by their own signage, conferences, model implementations, awards and dedicated visitor trails.

The various sectors of the show will all be housed on 3 levels of a single building, emphasizing the coming together of all the technical finishing trades in building and improving the flow and synergy between the sectors for the benefit of the visitor.

100% connect is designed to explain the challenges and the implementation of solutions and systems for communication within buildings and homes. A new development in 2008 will be the integration of Cabling System Europe with interclima+elechome&building, which provide an opportunity for the cabling industry to meet all those involved in building and the domestic environment.

Each of these two concepts will have a full supporting package: Specific signage for all manufacturers who want to highlight their "new energy" or "communicating building" products, systems or solutions on their stand;

Dedicated conferences and workshops on these themes to explain the concepts, to present the trends and to understand the challenges of these new markets. These workshops will take the form of interactive sessions focusing on model implementations.

Tailored visitor trails to help visitors make the most of their time at the show. They will be able to follow "100% new energy" or "100% connect" trails, depending upon where their interests lie, and to go straight to the exhibitors showing these kinds of solutions.

Awards: Two awards linked to each of these concepts will be presented at the show. One will go to a product or system whilst the other will provide recognition for an outstanding implementation.

As a reflection of its role as the meeting point for all the technical finishing trades, in 2008 interclima+elechome&building will occupy a single building consisting of halls 7.1, 7.2 and 7.3 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. Exhibitors will have an area of 80, 000 m2 available for the display of their products.
