Fruit Logistica-2008

Take a trip around the entire world of fresh produce! Next year, Fruit Logistica-2008 will offer an entirely new expo experience to trade visitors from all continents. The new layout makes it possible to take a complete tour of the leading fresh produce trade fair while remaining on one level in the exhibition halls. From 7 to 9 February, the entire logistics chain for fresh produce will be presented in Halls 1 to 25. For the first time, Fruit Logistica will be accessible via both main entrances of the Berlin Exhibition Grounds, Masurenallee to the north and Jafféstrasse to the south. Targeted planning by fairgoers will enable optimal routes to the exhibitors they plan to visit.

The two entrances increase the number of access options for visitors arriving by taxi and public transport. A complete trade fair tour "automatically" passes through all halls, regardless of which entrance is used. The entrance to FRESHCONEX 2008 is Hall 7.2. This new trade show for the fresh-cut convenience sector is held in conjunction with Fruit Logistica and is integrated into the trade fair tour.

When preparing their trade fair rounds, visitors can select the nearest entrance to meet their individual needs. The exhibitor directory, including halls and stand numbers, is already available online and can be used to locate the most convenient entrance. In order to visit specific display stands or country segments at Fruit Logistica, trade show organiser Messe Berlin recommends the following entrances:

These halls include Spain (Halls 14.1 to 18), Germany (Hall 20) and France (Hall 22) along with the Hall Forum ("Kleiner Stern" entrance) and the Exhibitor Forum ("Grosser Stern" entrance). South Entrance (Jafféstrasse): Halls 1 to 7 and 25. This zone includes the Netherlands (Halls 1 and 3), Italy, (Halls 2 and 4), Latin America (Hall 25) machinery (Hall 6) and FRESHCONEX (Halls 7.2 a and b).

The Fruit Logistica Virtual Market Place Internet platform at www.fruitlogistica.com provides more information than ever before. This industry portal for the fresh produce trade features company profiles, products and services from 2,000 exhibiting firms from over 60 countries. Trade visitors, journalists and others interested in the sector can use this service all year round to access detailed information and contact companies directly. Fruit Logistica visitors also have the option of using an online organiser to directly make appointments with exhibiting companies and plan their trade fair rounds.
