PSI continues on its growth course: at PSI 2008 which will take place from 9 to 11 January at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre, the organizers Reed Exhibitions expect 900 exhibitors and 19,000 trade visitors. Altogether, the leading European fair of the advertising specialities industry will occupy a net surface of 36,000 m². With almost three months still to go until the beginning of the fair, nearly 800 exhibitors have already booked a surface of 35,000 m².

With these figures, the fair continues on its record course of the past few years, as with almost 870 exhibitors occupying a total stand surface of 35, 390 m², this year's PSI already topped all previous records for the second time running.

In 2008, PSI will be held in Halls 3, 4, 5, 7 and 9 with a total occupied surface of 61.000 m². From 2009 onwards, PSI will occupy Halls 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13. "This opens up further growth perspectives in the long term, " explains PSI Director Sabine Geldermann. "We also have an option for using Hall 14. With all halls completely occupied, this would mean a surface of 85, 000 m²."

In addition to the larger space provided, further advantages of the new hall arrangement for exhibitors and visitors include optimized stand location as well as improved visitor routing, since the direct interconnection between the halls will eliminate the necessity to go outdoors when moving from one hall to another.

For the first time, PSI 2008 will feature a technology forum in Hall 3 where exhibitors will provide information on the latest possibilities in labelling technologies and product refining. The international country pavilions of Denmark, Great Britain, Italy, Poland and Spain as well as the international expert associations will again be found in Hall 9.
