| INDEX 08, The World's Nonwovens Exhibition INDEX 08, the world's largest nonwovens exhibition, is taking place at Geneva Palexpo from 15-18 April 2008. Over four days the exhibition will bring together all the players in the nonwovens industry from raw material producers to manufacturers, finishers to converters, to environmental protection, measuring and testing equipment manufacturers, to trade associations and journals. EDANA, the international association representing the interests of nonwovens and related industries, and sponsor of INDEX, is launching the popular INDEX Awards Competition for innovations in the nonwovens field. The aim of the INDEX Awards, only given once ever three years, is to encourage and acknowledge innovation and new ideas in nonwovens, their raw materials and the machinery used in making or converting nonwovens. All qualifying entries will be publicised in a special press release three weeks before INDEX 08. The winners will be presented with their awards at a special Awards Ceremony at INDEX 08, attended by the media. Winning an INDEX Award is the highest accolade that can be given to a company for achievement in nonwovens.
