Poleko-International Ecological Fair

The 2007 edition of the POLEKO exhibition (20-23 November) will be larger than last year's event, attracting more than 1000 companies from around 20 countries. As of the present moment, the exhibition space booked by exhibitors is 17 per cent larger than on the equivalent date last year.

The greatest attractions of the upcoming edition of the POLEKO fair are hundreds of new products, special expositions and a rich programme of specialist conferences and seminars. The largest environmental fair in Central and Eastern Europe will be held under the auspices of the Minister of the Environment.

POLEKO's assets include the participation of many experts related to the environmental protection from Poland and Europe and a numerous group of representatives of local administration, directors of municipal companies and people related to ecology in local governments. The show will be preceded by an intensive advertising campaign in specialist journals, popular dailies, on the radio and through mailing to a selected group of potential visitors.

The rich exposition of POLEKO includes the following sectors: Water and Waste Water; Energy and Renewable Energy Sources; Waste and Recycling; Cleaning and Maintenance; Air, Noise and Vibrations; Measurement and Control Equipment and Environmental Education.

POLEKO 2007 will include a range of special exhibitions already well-known to the participants of previous shows, including Clean Energy Exhibition – devoted to renewable sources of energy, Recycling Exhibition – dealing with waste recovery issues, Municipal Technology Park – an exposition of exhibitors offering equipment for municipal services, Control and Measurement Equipment Exhibition and Science for the Environment Exhibition – a show co-funded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, presenting the latest results of research into environmental protection technologies conducted by research institutes and research and development units.

POLEKO is ecological fair in the region and an excellent meeting platform for Western and Eastern European contractors. Each edition of the show is extremely popular with foreign companies. A permanent item on the POLEKO agenda are official national exhibitions organised under the auspices of government agencies and institutions. So far, the following countries have expressed interest in setting up joint exhibitions at the POLEKO fair: the Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Japan, Norway, Spain and Switzerland.
