The West Palm Beach Antique & Collectibles Show

The West Palm Beach Antique & Collectibles Show is returning to the South Florida Fairgrounds on November 2-4, 2007. The show is the largest event of its kind in South Florida, featuring over 250 exhibitors and thousands of hard-to-find antiques and collectibles. The November show is expected to be an unprecedented success since exhibitors and visitors alike have been eagerly anticipating its return. In November the West Palm Beach Antique & Collectibles Show presents Alert! an exhibit of reproductions, fakes and fantasies.

The display contains 70 items, including furniture, pottery, porcelain, glass, paper items, advertising, toys, mechanical banks and lamps. Visitors are encouraged to handle the items for as long as they like and learn how to use all their senses to better determine the age of a piece.

It is important when buying antiques to be an educated shopper. Remember, most antique dealers and auctioneers are honest hard-working people, they do their best to accurately represent the merchandise they sell. However, it is impossible to know everything about all antiques as there are so many diverse categories. It is always best to be prepared with the right knowledge.

In addition to Alert! the Show is also hosting a Silent Auction for Team in Training. Team in Training is and endurance sports training program whose members raise funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. All proceeds of the Silent Auction and any donations made will be given to the Society.

The West Palm Beach Antique & Collectibles Show Spectacular is one of the largest antique events in Florida. It attracts hundreds of antique and collectible dealers who feature items including antique furniture, china, silver, glassware, jewelry, linens, fine art, kitchenalia, toys and dolls, decorative accessories, fine collectibles, and much more.
