The Fifth Solaria-Trade Fair for Tanning Products and Equipment

The fifth SOLARIA - International Trade Fair for Tanning Products and Equipment, taking place in Cologne from 1st to 3rd November 2007, once again promises to deliver excellent results. The entire sector will be meeting at an exhibition area of 22, 500 m², where around 160 suppliers from 18 countries will present their products and services related to artificial tanning. The exhibitors, which include market leaders from Germany and abroad, will be displaying everything from sunbeds and tanning lamps to solar cosmetics and studio fittings. Organised by Koelnmesse, SOLARIA is Europe's only separate innovation platform for the tanning sector.

Suppliers of tanning devices, technical equipment and solar cosmetics will be particularly well represented. Other key areas include services for studio operators (including special franchise offers), for consumers, and for people wanting to decorate and equip their tanning centres.

The trade fair's supporting events include a trade conference programme, competitions and the popular SOLARIA Chill-Out, covering all aspects and offering real added value to the exhibitors and trade visitors. The second Cologne Swimming Pool and Wellness Forum will be held as part of the trade fair trio this year. Here, the subjects of water, heat and light will be addressed during practical presentations and subsequent discussions on 1st and 2nd November. On 2nd November, a special theme block titled "New findings for sauna and solarium operators" will be devoted to heat and light.

A student competition titled "Wellness visions: The tanning centre of tomorrow", organised by Koelnmesse, SLS and the Department of Architecture at Cologne University of Applied Sciences, will offer trade visitors an exciting information edge of a very different kind. Students and recent graduates are called on to come up with creative, innovative design concepts for tanning centres of the future, which will be on display at SOLARIA.
