Prolight + Sound Shanghai delivers a selection of the best pro-audio, lighting and stage equipment from around the world. It's a forum where professionals from the entertainment technology sector meet, exchange information on the latest technologies, and make quality new contacts for business. The 2007 show is scheduled for 17 - 20 October at the Shanghai New International Expo centre, alongside Music China. Together the two fairs create the biggest event for music products and entertainment technology in Asia.

For 2007 the event will be twice as big as before, with over 140 exhibitors from 10 countries, covering 20, 000sqm in two halls. Amongst the confirmed exhibitors for the fair are some of the most recognisable brands in the business today, including Active Audio, Allen & Heath, AT Laser, Neo-Neon, PHD, PAS, Sennheiser, Shure, SoundKing, Terbly Lighting, Triple Onda, and Wharfedale.

Exhibitors from Australia, China, France, Hong Kong, Singapore, Slovakia, Spain and the UK are all confirmed, plus large national pavilions from Germany and Taiwan showcasing the very best pro-audio, lighting and entertainment technology products available in those countries.

Products to be featured include professional lighting equipment, laser technology and special effects equipment, professional audio equipment, broadcasting and recording equipment, DJ equipment, conference and P/A systems, A/V technology, stage, studio and event technology, pro-audio and lighting-related computer hardware and software, acoustics technology, pro-audio and lighting accessories and related services.

Sennheiser - exhibiting for the first time at Prolight + Sound Shanghai - and L-Acoustics will host special concert celebrating "50 Years of Wireless Microphone Technology". Visitors are invited to come and hear the latest in Sennheiser wireless developments played back on the new state of the art L-Acoustics KIVA line source array speaker system. Two performances on 20th October, 11.00am and 1.30pm in the outdoor Sennheiser tent.

The Premier Contractor Seminar at Prolight + Sound Shanghai, held in conjunction with the China Association of Recording Engineers, will give contractors from all over China information about the latest trends and technological developments in pro-audio, lighting and stage technology. Market-leading company's Sennheiser and Shure are confirmed to deliver presentations during the seminar.
