Thailand International Logistics Fair 2007

To energize Thailand's export business, the Ministry of Commerce's Department of Export Promotion (DEP), has collaborated with seven banks to provide financial support and consulting service to Thai inter-traders attending Thailand International Logistics Fair 2007 (TILF 2007), which will be held on 12-16 September at BITEC Bang-na. The seven financial institutes participating in the TILF 2007, which are Bangkok Bank, Siam City Bank, Thai Military Bank, Kasikorn Bank, SME Bank, Exim Bank, and Standard Charter Bank, will offer financial loans and consultation service to Thai inter-traders attending.

DEP has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the participating financial institutes with its purpose to give financial support to Thai-national inter-traders, both experienced exporters with credibility and security and inexperienced business owners who lack in security. Thai investors overseas are also eligible to join the campaign.

Other collaborations include seminar and training activities on networking among inter-traders, manufacturers and buyers, trade information management and logistics service provider-and-user matching, to have faster, better and at lower cost export business.

Visitors to this year's show will feature comprehensive showcases of up-to-date products, technology and services from over 100 exhibitors that cover every angle of logistics industry including transportation services, port/container terminal, material handling, storage system, warehouse and packaging system as well as software and information technology and other related services.

A number of trade seminars on several hot topics, i.e. Global Logistics Network Symposium, Best Practice in Warehouse Automation, Development of Trade Logistics using RFID System, Best Practices in Hazardous Material Logistics and Safety Management are also presented right there at the show venue as well as other activities that include logistics exhibitions, business presentation and B2B matching.
