IfraExpo India

Based on its experience gained with the annual Ifra India conference, which celebrated its 14th anniversary in 2006, Ifra is now organising an exhibition and conference focused on the Indian newspaper market: IfraExpo India (4–6 September 2007).

India is the world's largest democracy and home to the world's second-largest population (1.1 bn people). The Indian economy grew by an annual average of 7% over the last years. In terms of circulation, 17 of the world's TOP 100 newspapers are published in India. Over the last five years, the daily circulation of Indian newspapers was up 33%, with a total circulation of almost 80 mn copies a day. In the same period, the advertising revenues of Indian newspaper publishers more than doubled.
