Seafood Expo Latin America

Nielsen Business Media, responsible for promoting the most important meetings of suppliers, distributors and resellers of the country in its business trade fairs, is going to hold the 4th edition of Seafood Expo Latin America, from September 17 through 19, 2007. It is looked upon as the largest meeting place and business-generating event for the Fishing and Aquaculture Industry of Latin America. The event is going to bring together the main national and international professionals, distributors, suppliers and buyers of fish, seafood and technology sectors at the Transamerica Expo Center, in São Paulo.

By adding all previous editions, over 14 thousand attendees have already taken part in the trade fair, of whom 12% were international buyers from 20 different countries such as Argentina, Chile, the USA, Norway and Uruguay.

For the 2007 edition, we expect to receive around 6 thousand attendees, national and international buyers, who are going to visit around 60 exhibitors such as Fit Salmon, Pavilhão do Rio Grande do Norte, Blue Deep, Center Cargo, Fishtex, Frigostrella, Geo Eye Orbimage, Instrutherm, Kenkoh, Lagoa Azul, Lin Lei, e Marcomar. Out of all the participating companies registered so far, 12% work with distribution channels and 12% in the food service segment.
