Spring Stitches & Craft Show

Whether you're into Spring Racing, Spring cleaning or Spring fashion, you'll enjoy the Spring Stitches & Craft Show at Rosehill Racecourse from Wednesday 22 August to Sunday 26 August 2007.

Attendees at the five-day event can view spectacular Spring fashion parades, embark on their own Spring hat creation and enjoy the latest in home sewing, beading, scrapbooking, home decorating, embroidery and craftescape workshops for children.

A major highlight of the event is the annual Australian Quilt Show, where you will marvel at the intricate handiwork of the country's best quilters across six competition categories. For those inspired to create their own quilted work of art, there will be a special quilting workshop presented by the Australian Quilt Show sponsors Down Under Quilts, Olfa, Gutermann, OTT-Lite and Brother International.

Also, don't miss internationally renowned fibre artist Kirry Toose at the Bernina stand, and view her intricate technique firsthand as she creates her latest 'Artwear' – a special project she has been working on through her involvement with this year's Stitches & Craft Shows. Another highlight for sewing lovers will be the launch of National Sewing Month.

The Stitches & Craft Show has something for everyone from its 50 workshops and demonstrations through to an extensive range of traditional and contemporary craft ideas and supplies, from papercraft to sewing machines.
