5th SAE Heavy Duty Diesel Emissions Control Symposium

Original equipment emissions control regulations are set to progressively tighten over the next few years. To enlighten companies on how the new regulations will affect heavy duty diesel engines and vehicles, and strategies to meet the new emissions limits, Johnson Matthey, Corning and Volvo are organising and sponsoring the 5th SAE Heavy Duty Diesel Emissions Control Symposium, at Göteborg Convention Centre, Göteborg, Sweden from 10-12 September, 2007.

The three day symposium brings together leading global experts to capture the attention of a highly targeted audience of policy makers and engineering professionals to discuss hot topics such as Legislation, the implications and challenges of compliance; Emissions control strategies; engine designs & aftertreatment from a global perspective; Non-road applications - construction and agriculture.

During the symposium experts will present routes to emissions compliance and technologies that are under development, demonstrated, and positioned to be installed on the current and future generations of diesel engines. The session will be chaired by experts in the fields of aftertreatment, design and engineering.
