San Francisco International Gift Fair

An unprecedented welcome, an exceptional array of resources organized into well-focused neighborhoods, exciting showfloor activities – and a new spotlight on "green" products – will await 20, 000 buyers at the San Francisco International Gift Fair . The summer edition's earlier timeframe – July 28-August 1, 2007 – will give savvy retailers a jumpstart on all-important fourth quarter buying, while the spacious comfort zones of "The Lounge" will reward them with the ultimate in relaxation and refreshment.

The SFIGF will feature some 1, 800 exhibitors in 17 divisions: Accent on Design ; At Home; Cash & Carry; Details ; Distinctive Lines; FoodFocus; GardenStyle; General Gift; Handmade ; The Jewelry Vaultsm; Just Kidstuff ; The Museum Source ; Personal Accessories; PetStyle; Stationery & Trend; Village Arts and The Vintage Collection.

The 29th semi-annual edition of the San Francisco International Gift Fair will run in cooperation with the permanent showrooms of the Giftcenter & Jewelrymart Attendees of the Fair can use their buyer badges to shop the Giftcenter & Jewelrymart during Pre-Fair Days, Wednesday, July 25 through Friday, July 27 – offering more opportunities to find unique, well-known product lines.

In the two editions of 'The Lounge, ' retailers will enjoy complimentary morning coffee, refreshments, afternoon wine and cheese, show bags, water bottles, other amenities – and a comfortable place to meet with colleagues. The Fair's newest buyer hospitality initiative will provide all services gratis and for the duration of the show. 'The Lounge' spaces will be situated on the exhibit floor, with locations in both Moscone's North and South Halls.

Back by popular demand, the PetStyle division will host daily "Pet Fashion Shows, " showcasing the latest in pet couture. The division's 20 exhibitors will showcase a variety of items designed for pets, including clothing, gifts, accessories, jewelry, toys and home accessories, giving retailers new ideas on how to capitalize on this $38 billion per year industry.

Buyers placing orders at the Fair will qualify to win prizes – including several grand prize drawings for hotel accommodations, cash rebates and other amenities. On Tuesday, July 31, retailers are eligible to receive bonus tickets. Each ticket is a chance to win one of several prizes, from exhibitor prizes to hotel room nights.
