| Building a Future on Peace and Justice-International Conference Finland, Germany and Jordan will host, from 25 to 27 June 2007, in Nuremberg, a high-ranking international Conference, the topic being "Building a Future on Peace and Justice". The Conference's objective is to show, on the basis of practical experiences gathered from many parts of the world, how to constructively deal with tensions that can arise – at least at short term – between "peace" and "justice". Conflicts between "peace" and "justice" may arise for example when warlords offer peace only at the price of a blanket amnesty, or when the competing demands of reconstructing the security, justice and other developmental sectors complicate the reconstruction process.
