TranSec World Expo

TranSec World Expo (27th – 28th June 2007), now in its fifth successful year, is moving from Brussels to a new home at EXPO XXI in Amsterdam and promises to be our best ever multi-dimensional mission critical event. TranSec World Expo brings security professionals from the aviation, maritime, rail, road and supply chain together for two days of high level debate, features over thirty specialist workshops and one of the largest exhibitions of its kind of state-of-the-art security solutions from industry today.

TranSec World Expo features two keynote seminars. The first, given by the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) focuses on special measures to enhance maritime security and will provide updates and advice on current regulation, guidance and tools on a range of port security-related issues.

The second, presented by the World Customs Organisation (WCO) in association with the European Commission (EC), explores the SAFE framework with particular emphasis on Authorised Economic Operators (AEOs) and how the concept is being implemented at a practical level within the European Union. This seminar also examines the topical issue of integrated border management.

Featuring one of the largest security systems exhibitions in Europe, technology from over 100 specialist vendors will be showcased at this year's event. In excess of 2000 visitors will attend TranSec World Expo, including heads of security from airports, airlines, maritime, police, customs, immigration, supply chain, government agencies and security integrators.
