| IDC IT Forum & Expo IDC today released details for the second annual IDC IT Forum & Expo and invitation-only CIO Summit to be held June 7–8, 2007 at the new Westin Waterfront Hotel in Boston. The agenda for the 2007 IT Forum & Expo will feature 35 case studies of successful IT-enabled business transformation, presented by senior IT and business executives from Fortune 500 companies. The case studies will be part of seven knowledge tracks, organized by topic on day one and vertical industry on day two. In addition, the event will offer four plenary keynote sessions featuring industry-leading visionaries, including John Kotter, world-renowned leadership expert, Harvard Business School professor, and author of Our Iceberg is Melting, and a 40-booth Exhibit Floor featuring the latest technology solutions in action. The CIO Summit – an invitation-only, day-and-a-half long event that runs parallel to and as part of the Forum – will present strategies for CIOs to overcome day-to-day challenges and facilitate business transformation. Summit speakers who will be sharing their winning strategies for ITenabled innovation with a view of the future of IT include CIOs from Compucredit, Fujitsu, Sunoco, and TRW Automotive.
