Café Direct and The Kenco Coffee Company have signed sponsorship deals that will see both companies playing a major role at this year's Caffè Culture, taking place on 23 & 24 May 2007 at Olympia, London. The new partnerships, along with an extensive seminar programme and a host of new features, have been designed to ensure that Caffè Culture 2007 provides a unique opportunity for the entire industry to come together for two days of business. Café Direct will sponsor the show's central theatre, where bistro chefs and baristas will provide practical food, latte art and cupping demonstrations, and give ideas and inspiration to those looking to offer innovative food and beverage selections to their customers.

The Caffè Business Theatre is sponsored by The Kenco Coffee Company and will host an extensive programme of seminars and debates dealing with some of the most critical issues faced by those working in the industry.

Julia Chanteray, co-presenter of Channel 4's Risking it All, will provide expert advice on achieving a sustainable and profitable business in one of the UK's most competitive sectors. Whilst hospitality recruitment and training expert, Chris Sheppardson, will offer an insight into how find, train and get the best from your staff – ensuring you get the best from your business.

The event with also host a series debates on key issues such as; the implications of serving fairly and ethically traded coffee and how independents and chains can exist in harmony.

Already established within the café and coffee bar industry as a must-attend event, Upper Street Events, the organisers of Caffè Culture, has had to extend the floor plan for the second time this year to accommodate industry demand.

Expanding by a total of 35% since 2006, the 2007 event is now over 98% sold, with over 150 companies exhibiting. Among new companies to have a presence will be major brands such as Typhoo, Nestle, Dairy Crest, Brasilia, Tchibo and CaféBar.
