MTA Malaysia 2007

MTA Malaysia 2007 will return amidst high expectations to Kuala Lumpur from 16 – 20 May 2007 to meet the needs of the country's growing metalworking and precision engineering sectors. The event comes at a time when Malaysia is embarking on a new phase of development towards realizing its aspiration to become a developed nation by the year 2020. The machinery and equipment industry is of strategic importance to the overall industrial development of Malaysia, due to its links with other industrial sectors.

With the opening of Hispano-Malaysian Machine Tool Professional Training Institute (MSI) in Kulim and many other projects in the pipeline, MTA Malaysia2007 is an especially timely and relevant event for Malaysia's tooling and manufacturing industries.

MTA Malaysia 2007 will be held at the Putra World Trade Centre in the heart of downtown KL, and will be the fourth edition of the Malaysia International Precision Engineering, Machine Tools and Metalworking Exhibition & Conference. It is also expected to be a gathering of the world's leading metalworking and precision engineering solution providers and top buyers in the manufacturing industry.

MTA Malaysia 2007 is anticipated to attract over 1, 200 exhibiting companies from over 33 countries and regions with eight group pavilions including China, Germany, Korea, Germany and Taiwan. The latest technologies and solutions from the world's leading brands such as ABB, Fanuc, Siemens, Sodick, Mazak, Mori Seiki, Yamazen, Mitutoyo, Amada, TRUMPF, Bystronic, Mitsubishi, Sodick, Nikon, Hexagon Metrology, Sandvik Coromant, and Kyocera are also expected.

In addition to the above, the Malaysian Industrial Development Authority (MIDA) will once again be organising their national seminar alongside MTA Malaysia 2007. Malaysian Exhibition Services and Singapore Exhibition Services are the leading organisers of trade exhibitions and conferences in their respective countries and are both members of Allworld Exhibitions, a worldwide alliance of exhibition organisers and consultants who together organise more than 200 trade shows world-wide.
