Feria Valencia and IFA (Alicante Exhibition Centre) are jointly launching a new event: IDINOVA, the Research Development and Innovation Fair. The first edition will be held at Feria Valencia, from 30th May to 1st June 2007. IDINOVA came about as a result of the merger of two existing shows. It will be held in Valencia in odd-numbered years and in IFA in even-numbered years. IDINOVA's goal is to provide SMEs with solutions related with research, development and innovation. The exhibitors at the fair will be businesses offering products and services aimed at developing new projects, improving production quality, and minimising costs.

In order to boost the number of visitors, particularly from small and medium enterprises, in Valencia IDINOVA will be held concurrently with three other events: Laboralia (Prevention, Protection, Safety and Health at Work), Ecofira (Water, Land, Air and Residues, Services and Technologies) and Qualimetrics (Quality, Calibration, Metrology and Instrumentation).

IDINOVA will host software companies, materials, highly specialised auxiliary industries, integral design and design engineering, consultants, technology centres and machinery.
