Hardware & Tools Middle East 2007 Exhibition

Global industry players in the hardware and tools sector have shown significant interest in taking part in the Hardware & Tools Middle East 2007 exhibition, resulting in the number of companies confirming their participation exceeding 250 for the region's only dedicated event for power tools, hand tools, hardware, ironmongery, workshop and woodworking machinery. Organized by Messe Frankfurt, Hardware & Tools Middle East 2007 is scheduled to be held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from May 13-15, 2007.

Major companies that have already confirmed their participation for the Dubai event include Bosch Power Tools, Dewalt, Arwani Trading in cooperation with Milwaukee, Cooper Tools, Leica Geosystems from France, L.G. Harris, Channellock USA, and Favor Light, Hong Kong.

More than 250 participants from 18 countries; including China, Egypt, Germany, Iran, Italy, Poland, Singapore, Taiwan, Turkey, UAE, UK, USA, Austria and Ukraine exhibited at last year's show. The exhibition proved to be extremely well attended, with independently verified statistics showing that almost 4, 000 people visited the over the three days.

In order to make browsing through the fair easier for trade visitors and buyers and to reflect the demand pattern of the region, the Hardware & Tools Middle East 2007 has been segmented into three broad product categories. Within these three sections – tools, machinery and hardware –
there are a huge range of products and services that visitors will be looking to source.

The 'Tools'; section will cover power tools, hydraulic tools, air pneumatic tools, all kind of hand held tools and accessories, measuring equipment and consumables, cutting implements as well as plumbing tools, tool cases, staplers, pliers, glue guns and much more.

The 'Machinery' section will cover product groups such as woodworking equipment and will include a whole range of workshop apparatus such as lathes, grinding, milling, molding, drilling, punching and sawing machines, as well as machinery parts and components.

The 'Hardware' section will cover product groups such as abrasives, anchors, fasteners, fittings, nails, bolts, nuts, adhesives, paints, varnishes and sealants, along with windows & doors and related hardware, furniture hardware, locks and accessories, construction and building materials,
ladders, scaffolding and flooring.

This year's Hardware and Tools Trade Fair will run in conjunction with five other shows – ISH Kitchen and Bath, Light Middle East, Hometech Middle East, Garden + Landscaping and Toyfair Middle East. More than 18, 000 visitors are expected to visit the combined shows, making it the leading event of its kind in the region.
