RestAlimed, the Food and Machinery Fair for Restaurants, Catering, and Retailing will be held at Feria Valencia, from 19th to 22nd April, concurrently with the Louis Vuitton Cup, the final regatta of the 32nd America´s Cup. In fact, this world-class sports event is the source of inspiration for some of the gastronomic proposals to be presented at the event. Under the title "A Toda Vela", the celebrated chef Juan Luis Buitrago will pay his personal tribute to the regattas creating a dish that includes salmon caviar as its main ingredient. Another dish prepared by this chef from Murcia is "Como una Ola" using shrimp bread and grey mullet caviar as the basic components.

Buitrago will prepare both gastronomic creations live at Plaza Activa. This space at Restalimed will showcase prestigious chefs and specialists in Spanish and Italian gastronomy and offer trade visitors a number of activities such as talks, demos and product tastings.

A select programme of tie-in events adds to the product range on display by the 150 exhibitors taking part at RestAlimed, guaranteeing restaurateurs and retailers the most comprehensive product offer in food, machinery, equipment, decoration or furniture for the world of food and catering.
