The 2007 International CES

The 2007 International CES opens its doors to a record-setting 1.8 million net square feet of exhibit space, as the show celebrates its 40th anniversary. Produced by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA ), the 2007 International CES, the world's largest tradeshow for consumer technology, returns to Las Vegas January 8-11, 2007. The 2007 International CES will feature the latest products and technologies encompassing more than 30 product categories including digital imaging, home networking, IPTV, mobile electronics, gaming and more.

The CES show floor will span across the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC), the Las Vegas Hilton and CES' newest venue - the Sands Expo and Convention Center/The Venetian, the new home to the CES keynotes and high-performance audio and home theater exhibits.

The CES show floor will house more than 20 market-specific TechZones showcasing the latest industry trends and emerging technologies. The Anytime, Anywhere TechArena, sponsored by Sling Media and located at the Sands/Venetian, will feature the latest in portable content shifting devices, and also will house The Download, ExpressCard, IPTV and Podcasting TechZones. Additional TechZones making a splash at the International CES include the Gaming TechZone, showcasing the latest PC and console gaming developments, the Robotics TechZone, which will debut the latest in robotics trends and the Vehicle Communication & Safety TechZone, sponsored by ITS America, featuring the latest in active safety systems.

Some of the biggest names in the consumer electronics and content industries will take the stage as part of the 2007 International CES keynote addresses, including Microsoft's Bill Gates, Motorola's Ed Zander, Disney's Robert Iger, Dell's Michael Dell and CBS' Leslie Moonves. CES attendees will hear from these industry visionaries in The Venetian's Palazzo Ballroom, which will house all CES keynotes at more than double the capacity of past keynote venues.

The 2007 CES Industry Insider Series has an explosive line-up of speakers set to deliver their vision of the CE industry. The 2007 CES Industry Insider speakers include Cisco's John Chambers, Nokia's Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo and FCC Chairman Kevin Martin. Additionally, the Industry Insider's Pipelines Power Panel includes top executives from major satellite, cable, broadcast and telco companies.

The International CES conference program spans hundreds of industry topics, with more than 175 conference sessions and 300 speakers featured at the 2007 show. Educating CES attendees on the latest CE trends, the 2007 CES conference sessions range from broadband advertising and digital photography to home networking and mobile entertainment.
