NanoBusiness 2007 Conference and Exhibition

The NanoBusiness Alliance announced that its sixth annual NanoBusiness 2007 Conference and Exhibition will be returning to the Marriott Marquis in Times Square, New York City from April 15 - 17, 2007.

NanoBusiness 2007 will feature a stellar keynote line-up that includes Uma Chowdhry, Chief Science and Technology Officer at DuPont; Dr. Ray O. Johnson, Chief Technology Officer for Lockheed-Martin; and Hans Stork, Chief Technology Officer for Texas Instruments.

The speakers will discuss their innovation priorities and the role of nanotech in delivering the next-generation of applications to meet corporate goals for innovation. This engagement at the "C-Level" of executives from three Fortune 200 companies signals a "coming of age" for this technology and its importance in the innovation strategies for global corporations.

NanoBusiness 2007 is expected to attract hundreds of business leaders, investors, venture capitalists, scientists, engineers, and government officials. The visionaries who are driving the nanotechnology revolution will participate in over three days of comprehensive corporate presentations, in-depth panels, executive keynotes, educational sessions, and networking opportunities.

Nanotechnology is the basis of several high-growth areas of innovation including "cleantech" – clean energy and water technologies, next-generation electronics and healthcare technologies. The NanoBusiness 2007 conference will feature company presentations in each of these areas and explore a broad range of issues relating to nanotechnology and investing, commercialization, economic development, environmental, health and safety and global opportunities.
