The Stitch and Creative Crafts Show

Northern Ireland Patchwork Guild is holding an exhibition of their member's finest work at The Stitch and Creative Crafts Show. The Stitch and Creative Crafts Show will be held on Thursday 12th – Saturday 14th April 2007 at The King's Hall, Belfast.

The Guild was established in 1979 with the aim of promoting the traditional skills of patchwork and quilting throughout Northern Ireland. Members of the Guild will be on hand to give demonstrations of their work and to talk to visitors.

The Stitch and Creative Crafts Show is your opportunity to shop for those hard to find supplies and stock up on your favourite craft products all under one roof! There are theatres where you can learn new techniques from the experts and a wide selection of exhibitors with all the latest in cross stitch, fabric, card making, knitting and stitching yarns as well as sewing machines, embroidery and sewing threads, books, accessories and much, much more. There is something for everyone at this superb show.

Other highlights at The Stitch and Creative Crafts Show include The Lace Guild of Northern Ireland will have an exhibition and demonstration, Ulster Spinners, Weavers and Dyers will have demonstrations and will let visitors have a go, The Quilters Guild of Ireland will be demonstrating 'flying geese', The Irish Country Women's Association will hold workshops on Mountmellick embroidery, The Guild of Machine Knitters N.I. will be have a display of their work, The Women's Institute will be celebrating their 75th anniversary at the show. The will have displays of their work and demonstrations.
