Hannover Messe 2007

From 16 to 20 April 2007 one venue in the heart of Europe will be hosting 12 leading international trade shows featuring the best in modern industrial technology. At HANNOVER MESSE companies from all over the world will be presenting technical innovations, current trends and the latest know-how for all the key sectors of industry. Deutsche Messe is expecting to attract a total of 6, 150 exhibitors from 68 countries, presenting their products on a total display area of 204, 000 m². No less than 2, 900 of the registered exhibitors - 47% of the total - come from outside Germany. After Germany the nations with the largest contingents of exhibitors include Italy, China and Turkey.

Topping the agenda at HANNOVER MESSE 2007 are industrial automation, power transmission and control, energy technologies, industrial subcontracting and services, plus the emerging technologies of tomorrow as well as R&D. The featured Partner Country at this year's show will be Turkey.

HANNOVER MESSE is a showcase for cutting-edge technologies right across the industrial spectrum. And it's not just a matter of showing the latest products - there's a strong emphasis on industrial technology as a series of integrated systems, where individual products work together as parts of a greater whole. As the world's leading technology show for industry, HANNOVER MESSE provides a complete overview of new technologies and their place in the end-to-end industrial process chain. Thanks to the unique scope and diversity of HANNOVER MESSE, trade visitors can find complete solutions for tasks in virtually every area of industrial production - a claim that cannot be sustained by any other trade show or industrial event.

The trade show "Motion, Drive and Automation" (MDA), which takes place once every two years, is a good example. When it opens its doors this year, visitors will once again discover the entire spectrum of electric, mechanical and fluid power transmission in a display that embraces every aspect of industrial automation. Separate trade shows will showcase the related fields of compressed air and vacuum technology and surface treatment at HANNOVER MESSE 2007.

With Turkey signed up as the official Partner Country for 2007, HANNOVER MESSE is once again providing a platform to a country that offers outstanding market opportunities and growth potential, coupled with a track record for innovation and a highly diversified industrial base. The organizers are expecting around 6, 000 visitors from Turkey. More than 200 Turkish exhibitors will be occupying a net display area of 6, 500 m². The presentation concept calls for a central stand located in Hall 26, together with numerous joint presentations staged by Turkish exhibitors within the individual fairs and trade shows that make up the HANNOVER MESSE program.

Turkey's exhibition program spans a diverse range of technologies and industrial sectors, with the emphasis on engineering and services in the OEM and subcontracting sectors. Other key areas covered by the Partner Country display include R&D, process and building automation as well as energy and pipeline technologies.

Year after year HANNOVER MESSE is the international meeting-place for decision-makers from industry, science, business and politics. The next show in April 2007 will once more provide ideal opportunities for new business leads and contacts, as well as for the transfer of know-how and expertise between users, suppliers and development engineers from across the globe. These important functions are facilitated by the hundreds of special events, presentations, themed displays, symposia, congresses and talks by experts that take place within the individual flagship events and major trade fairs.
