On Demand Conference & Expo

Questex Media Group, Inc. announced the second annual Best of Show Awards program for the ON DEMAND Conference & Expo, the leading digital printing event. InfoTrends, a leading market research and consulting firm in the digital imaging and document solutions industry, will partner with the conference and expo to produce the awards program. The ON DEMAND Conference & Expo will take place at the Boston Convention & Exposition Center from April 16-19.

The ON DEMAND Best of Show Awards will be judged in eight categories. One award will be presented in each category. Bindery, Finishing and Mailing Equipment: systems for booklet making, collating, binding, cutting, folding, coating, converting, inserting and mailing. Document Creation Software: software and systems for content creation and delivery, including variable data solutions.

Web to Print Solutions: solutions using the web to facilitate production of printed jobs. Workflow Solutions: solutions that help achieve automation and super-efficiency in managing the document lifecycle or a critical component. Monochrome Digital Printing Equipment: production monochrome printing systems. Spot Color Digital Printing Equipment: production spot or highlight color printing systems. Process Color Digital Printing Equipment: production full color printing systems. Print MIS/ERP: software designed for printers that provide accounting and resource planning.

The awards program is open to all show exhibitors. To be eligible, products must have been introduced after May 1, 2006, be generally available at the time of the 2007 ON DEMAND Conference & Expo, and be on display or in use during the show. Exhibiting companies may enter up to two products.

The competition will be judged by a diversified panel of distinguished professionals from the graphic arts and printing community. The judges are chosen for their accomplishments and extensive knowledge in this market and its technologies. Judges will use a weighted combination of subjective and objective criteria in making their selections for Best of Show.
