G2e Institute Moving To Gulf Coast In 2007

Global Gaming Expo (G2E) announced that G2E Institute, its unique conference event that debuted last year in Las Vegas, will move to New Orleans in 2007, bringing G2E's world-class educational content, dynamic networking events and "by the industry, for the industry" approach to the Gulf Coast. Set for April 10-12, 2007 at the Wyndham New Orleans at Canal Place and themed Gaming's Next Era: Leveraging Innovation to Enhance Your Market, the event also will include a charity golf tournament. As in 2006, Casino Design, the popular G2E conference dedicated to the design and development of casino resort properties, also will be co-located with G2E Institute.

G2E Institute will feature cutting-edge, workshop-style conference programming designed to give gaming professionals and community leaders the tools necessary to build their markets into premiere gaming destinations. The conference will focus on how existing markets have harnessed the latest gaming trends to improve their business, and how those best practices can be applied to transform emerging and re-emerging gaming jurisdictions.

In addition to the conference program, G2E Institute will feature a host of unique networking events that have become a signature of G2E's events portfolio. The "Chipping In for Charity" Golf Tourney will take place Tuesday, April 10 at the English Turn Golf and Country Club in New Orleans. G2E Institute also will host the Casino Design Awards luncheon, honoring outstanding achievement in casino resort architecture and design throughout the world, and other networking events are in the planning stages.

Some of the special features made popular at the flagship G2E event in Las Vegas will be an important part of the G2E Institute experience. As at other G2E events, the conference will feature high-powered keynote speakers, off-site casino property tours and other activities. Also like G2E, conference content at G2E Institute will be planned with input from gaming professionals throughout the region to ensure coverage of only the most timely and relevant issues and trends.
