The Special and Sports Car Exhibition

After the enthusiastic presentation at the Bologna Motor Show 2006 continues the countdown for the fifth edition of "My Special Car Show", the Special and Sports Car Exhibition, organized by Promotor International for the fourth consecutive year and to be staged at the Rimini Exhibition Centre from 13 to 15 April 2007. This year two new Rimini Exhibition Centre halls will be occupied measuring about 13, 500 sq m and which opened in September 2006. 8 outdoor areas will be set up – covering a total area of over 17, 000 sq m – and placed at the disposal of car manufacturers and exhibitors for test drives and display events involving the My Special Car Show public.

The show layout will be similar to that of last year, with two distinctive Show "hearts". One part of the Exhibition Centre will be set aside for major Italian and European Tuning and Car Entertainment specialists while another part will be dedicated to rallies of car customisation enthusiasts and dynamic activities.

The Tuning section will include the manufacturers of car accessories for interiors and exteriors, tyres and hubcaps, fitting out kits, engine and electronic preparations, customisation of interiors, lubricants, fuels and additives, car care and maintenance products, technical and sports clothing and car equipment. Car Entertainment on the other hand, will include car audio and car entertainment, car hi-fi, car navigation, on-board electronics, mobile telephony, mobility information systems and car alarms.

Alongside My Special Club, two other events have been scheduled in Rimini related to the world of Car Entertainment: Special Pressure Level, dedicated to SPL (Sound Pressure Level) fans and Special Sound, event dedicated to the best audio setups in terms of sound quality and installation, built with the cooperation of Ritmi Urbani.

During the presentation of the fifth edition of the event, Promotor International also announced the advent of ETO, European Tuning Organization, a European association established in Bologna on 23rd October last, and whose first members were the Italian association ASCAR, the Belgian association FEDERAUTO, and the Greek association HATA and, as a founder member only, their American counterpart SEMA. Just few months from its foundation, the number of ETO member-associations has risen to nine, with the addition of ANECRA for Portugal, V.A.T.Z. for Germany, SVESKA BILSPORTFORBUNDET for Sweden and FISA for France.
