The Trade Fair for Professional Cosmetic Services

From March 23 – 25, 2007, BEAUTY INTERNATIONAL, the trade fair for professional cosmetic services, will again be the international forum for cosmetics, nail and foot experts. Over 1, 000 exhibitors and brands will present their products, services and innovations to more than 50, 000 visitors from around the world. According to a survey, over 90% of the exhibitors and visitors rate BEAUTY INTERNATIONAL as the most important trade fair for this industry and as the ideal communication and order platform. At the last staging of BEAUTY INTERNATIONAL, 89% of the visitors placed their orders directly at the trade fair.

The focal points at BEAUTY INTERNATIONAL will be cosmetics, nail, pedicure, wellness, permanent make-up, sun, services, equipment and salon accessories. The exhibits will be supported by ten workshops and about 100 lectures and presentations at the sector specific meeting points. Special highlights will be the German and International Make-up and Nail Championships as well as various award ceremonies such as the Golden Mask for make-up artists and the "Life of Beauty" Beauty Award.

BEAUTY INTERNATIONAL 2007 will feature over 500 exhibitors and brands in the cosmetics exhibit category. The assortment will range from cosmetic products for skin regeneration and cleansing to natural cosmetics, products with ingredients from the sea as well as trendy make-up products, treatment beds and new technical equipment. The central event forum for this sector will be the Meeting Point in Hall 10 where both the National and International Make-up Championships will be held.

Around 130 exhibitors and brands will give a comprehensive overview of new products, concepts and techniques for nail design – including gel nails, airbrush technique, acrylic nail design, artistic nail art, new hand and nail care products, products for natural nails, electric nail files and UV lamps for synthetic nails. The program at the Meeting Point Nail will include the National and International Nail Championships.

Foot care products and equipment will be displayed by about 110 exhibitors and brands. The supporting program with its numerous lectures will offer detailed information on industry specific topics and current developments in cosmetic and medical foot care.

The range of exhibits of the 90 exhibitors and brands in the wellness sector will include spa and wellness treatments, therapy and treatment techniques, tanning beds and accessories. "Spa Impressions: Well-Being with Water and Heat" will be the theme of the special show. At the Wellness Meeting Point, renowned speakers will discuss current trends such as ancient bathing cultures in Europe, Asia and the Orient as well as essential oils and water and light wellness.
