The 5th China International Gold, Jewellery & Gem Fair

The 5th China International Gold, Jewellery & Gem Fair - Shenzhen will run from 1 to 4 March 2007 at Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center. Response to the Fair this year has been enthusiastic. Over 400 exhibitors from 12 countries and regions, namely Belgium, Brazil, China, Hong Kong, India, Israel, Italy, Philippines, Poland, Singapore, Taiwan and Turkey, will occupy more than 25, 000 sqm of exhibition space. The Fair is expected to be the largest edition thus far and will be the most international jewellery fair of its kind held in China in the first half of the year.

In addition to the fabulous products displayed, the organisers will arrange a series of special events organised with professional expertise "Latest developments in jadeite trading and updates on the jadeite market in China" and "Latest jewellery design trends" by Jewellery News Asia Chinese Edition and China International Gold, Jewellery & Gem Fair - Shenzhen; Chinese Gold Culture Conference by the China Gold Association; Super Attraction - Gold Day by the World Gold Council; "Laboratory procedures and current marketing trends" and "Protecting your diamond business by investing in consumer confidence" by International Gemological Institute (HK) Ltd.

To continue the mission of establishing a high-quality multi-function forum for the international jewellery trade in mainland China, the Fair will again present a factory visit programme for overseas visitors. Four jewellery manufacturers in Shenzhen will introduce their factories to overseas visitors on 3 March 2007.

An extensive range of fine jewellery and raw materials will be showcased at the Fair. These include Gold jewellery; Platinum jewellery; Silver jewellery; Pearl, diamond and gemset jewellery; Diamonds; Jadeite; Pearls; Gemstones; Machinery and equipment; Tools and technology; Packaging and display; Related products and services.
