Internorga 2007

Approx. 1, 000 companies from Germany and other countries will present innovations, trends and package solutions from all segments of the out-of-home market in twelve halls at the INTERNORGA, to be held at Hamburg Trade Fair from March 9th-14th 2007. INTERNORGA is thus expanding its position as premiere showcase and sector barometer. More than 100, 000 trade visitors from all over the world are expected to attend the foremost international forum for decision-makers and leading buyers from the hotel and restaurant, catering, bakery and confectionery trades.

INTERNORGA will be able to make use of as many as four new halls for the first time in 2007. The entire "Kitchen equipment and technology" area will be presented in the three new halls, A2-A4, on the site under the TV tower. All market leaders will exhibit their products and innovations here on more than 20, 000 sq.m. – a unique presentation in Europe.

Hall B6 will also be put into operation for the first time at Foyer South. This approx. 13, 000 sq.m. hall, the largest of the New Hamburg Trade Fair, will be home to the "Baking and confectionery trades, shop fittings" area in future. Here trade visitors will find everything from a new baking mix to technical equipment and shop fittings quite literally under one roof.

In 2007, INTERNORGA will also retain the clear structuring of its individual focal areas. Thus, as in previous years, Halls 9-12 as well as Hall A1, with approx. 10, 000 sq.m. the largest hall on the site under the TV tower, will accommodate the "Food and beverages" area. It still includes the "Organisation and communication" area in the upper floor of Hall 10 and the ground floor of Hall 11. Companies from the "Furnishings and fittings" area will exhibit in Halls 6-8.

The putting into operation of the new halls will coincide with the opening of two new entrances at the Hamburg trade fair venue. Both the technology halls and the A1 are directly accessible from the new Central Entrance at Hall A4. The new West Entrance is at Hall A3 near the rapid transit and underground station Sternschanze. The East Entrance and South Entrance remain unchanged. The trade fair site can thus be easily reached via all three underground lines in Hamburg. As in 2006, a free shuttle bus will also be provided from Dammtor station to the West Entrance.
