The Access & Mobility Exhibition

The Access & Mobility Exhibition announced details of the 2007 exhibition for people with limited mobility in Ireland. Over 380, 000 people in Ireland suffer from a recognised disability of some description, yet Ireland still remains a relatively inaccessible society for people with disabilities. The exhibition will showcase products and services of benefit to people with limited mobility. The exhibition will take place on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th February 2007 in the Shelbourne Hall, RDS, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4.

Speaking at the announcement today, Mr Richard Ryder, Director, Access & Mobility Exhibition, said that the event provides people with varying physical disabilities, carers and healthcare professionals a chance to view and try out what is currently on offer.

With 40 of Ireland's mobility companies exhibiting, there will be an array of assistive technology and services on display, including vehicle conversion, wheelchairs, ramps, lifts, scooters, hoists, beds, bathroom products, walking aids, daily living aids, etc. Various organisations will also be present offering advice, support and information.
