| ProSweets Cologne 2007  ProSweets Cologne is continuing its course of dynamic growth. The event, which will be held for the second time from 29th January to 1st February 2007, will boast a significantly larger number of exhibitors and occupy much more hall space than it did the last time around. ProSweets Cologne is the only trade fair for the sector that presents the entire range of suppliers required for the production, processing and packaging of confectionery. 289 exhibitors from 26 countries will present their products and services in the following segments.This year's ProSweets Cologne will also be larger in terms of hall area, with approximately 14, 000 m² of occupied exhibition space. ProSweets will occupy Hall 10.1 of the Cologne exhibition centre, which has a separate entrance area directly adjacent to ISM. In order to optimise scheduling for the confectionery sector, the dates of the two events have also been coordinated. In a logical development of the basic concept, the two events will now overlap on three days. ProSweets will continue to be a four-day event. The overlapping dates of the two events are sure to provide unique synergy effects. As a prime target group of the ProSweets exhibitors, the ISM exhibitors will have a great opportunity to view the product ranges of all the relevant suppliers - with little time investment and considerable cost savings. With ProSweets Cologne and the leading trade fair ISM, Koelnmesse presents the confectionery industry's entire value chain at one trade fair location, starting with raw ingredients, technology and packaging and ending with the product ready for retail sale. The conceptual sponsors of ProSweets are the Association of the German Confectionery Industry (BDSI), Sweets Global Network (SG), the German Agricultural Society (DLG) and the Central College of the German Confectionery Industry (ZDS). This year's fair will feature the premiere of the special show "Nut Special" - an international special show in the Ingredients segment that focuses on nuts in the confectionery supplier industry. Various international associations and group organizations, producers and farmers from the nut industry will join together to present their products at the "Nut Special" show at ProSweets Cologne.
