ENVIRONMENT 2007 will be held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, 28th - 31st January 2007 at the Abu Dhabi International Exhibition & Conference Centre. The event is organised by Reed Exhibitions Middle East and the Environment Agency - Abu Dhabi.

The Japanese pavilion organized by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), will be the largest national pavilion at the event at 1, 308 sq mtrs total gross area. Forty Japanese Companies from the environment and industrial sector, including Panasonic, Sharp, Hitachi, Cosmo Oil and Nissan among others, will present the latest Japanese products and technologies in the environmental field to visitors from the UAE and the rest of the region.

The project team for ENVIRONMENT 2007 is in the midst of an extensive exhibitor and visitor campaign via participation at various events in France, Germany, France, the UK and the Netherlands. ENVIRONMENT 2007 Exhibition & Conference will target over 375 exhibitors from around the world. The event will be the fourth in the series of exhibitions and conferences since the event was first initiated in 2001.

Leading international organisations including the UNEP (United Nations Environment Programme), UNDP (United Nations Development Programme), are supporting ENVIRONMENT 2007. The event has also attracted leading sponsors and supporters including ADNOC & Its Group of companies, the main sponsor and ADWEA, ADCB, TOTAL, SHELL, NBAD, ALDAR who are the co-sponsors. General Secretariat of UAE Municipalities is a key supporter of the event.
