Next Generation Data Center Conference & Expo

FRAMINGHAM, Mass IDG World Expo, the producer of world-class tradeshows, conferences and events around the globe, has announced the launch of Next Generation Data Center Conference & Expo (NGDC), scheduled to take place August 7-9, 2007 at the Moscone Convention Center, San Francisco, CA. The event will focus on new technologies and their impact on the data center, covering mission-critical applications and the technology supporting those applications including storage, servers, networking and communications.

The new event is targeted to data center professionals ranging, from IT architects to system administrators, seeking the right products and services to add to their end-to-end solutions as they adapt to ever increasing needs for flexibility, scalability and performance. The event will feature presentations by leading technology experts and innovative IT executives who will address what is happening in the data center today and what's likely to happen next. Multiple tracks will provide attendees with a full spectrum of best practices and emerging trends across key topic areas including SOA, virtualization, grid, security, application optimization, information life cycle management, automation, compliance, VOIP and network management.

Partnering with Next Generation Data Center as the official content website is Network World, a leading media expert on the New Data Center concept. Network World will provide extensive coverage of the event including articles and podcasts, on-site video broadcasts of keynotes and podcast interviews, and post-event news.

Next Generation Data Center will launch simultaneously alongside LinuxWorld Conference & Expo, the premier event for data center professionals using Linux and open source solutions in their enterprise. The co-location of these two events allows for NGDC attendees and LinuxWorld conference and exhibition attendees to visit both trade show floors bringing together more than 10, 000 buyers.
